House rules

A few simple rules to help everyone enjoy their stay at The Bay — and keep our homes and neighbours happy. Thank you!

🏡 Guests & stay

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in and late check-out can be requested — see Check-out below.
Up to 6 guests, and only the guests on your booking may stay overnight.
No parties, please.
No extra visitors after 10pm.
Park only in your home’s allocated parking — the drive at the side of the house (or lodge). Your guest guide has the details for your home.

Up to 2 dogs. A 3rd dog (maximum 3) is only possible if you’ve asked us in advance — you can add it when you book (£20 per stay).
No banned dog breeds, please.
No pets on soft furnishings, and please keep dogs off the beds.
Please pick up after your dogs.

No smoking.
No disposable BBQs on the decking.
Please don’t block any exits, and don’t cover or tamper with the smoke alarms.

Please report any damage or breakage as soon as possible — just call or WhatsApp Tom.
Turn off the lights and heating when you go out.
Please don’t take linen or towels outside (to the beach, for example).

Check-out is by 10am. Late check-out (until 12pm) can be requested and may incur a fee (£25; £45 with early check-in), subject to availability. Staying past your agreed check-out time without agreement may incur a £100 charge.
Take all your rubbish to the bin stores before you leave, and put recycling in the correct bins there. Your guest guide shows where the bin store is.
Leave the keys in the lock box (at Lake View Lodge the gate fob goes back too) and lock the front door as you leave. If you lose a key, please tell us.
Leave the leisure centre pass in the box near the door. If it’s lost there’s a £20 replacement charge.
